PhDr. Philip M. Bromberg je americký psycholog a psychoanalytik, který se aktivně účastní výcviku profesionálů působících v oblasti duševního zdraví v USA. Nejvíce je znám jako autor knih Standing in the Spaces: Essays on Clinical Process, Trauma, and Dissociation (Stojíc v meziprostorech: Eseje na téma klinický proces, trauma a disociace) z roku 1998 a Awakening the Dreamer: Clinical Journeys (Probouzení snílka: klinické cesty) z roku 2006. Po více než 30 let rozsáhle píše o tématech týkajících se duševního vývoje člověka a vztahu pacienta s terapeutem. Zastává interpersonální/vztahový přístup, který klade důraz na organizaci osobnosti, stavy vědomí, disociaci a mnohočetné stavy osobnosti. Stal se výcvikovým a supervizní analytikem William Alanson White Institute a klinickým profesorem psychologie postdoktorátního programu psychoterapie a psychologie na New York University. Je členem American Psychological Association a diplomatem Americké rady pro profesionální psychologii (ABPP) v oboru klinická psychologie.
