• A TeleVideo 925 computer terminal. This was a text-only smart terminal, with uppercase and lowercase letters, cursor postioning, and a unique set of escape sequences for a command set. The terminal used ASCII character codes and connected to a host computer through an RS-232 port at speeds up to 19,200 bits per second. The processor was a MOS Technology 6502. The terminal has 4 kilobytes of RAM, two 4 kilobyte ROM chips, and uses TTL for interconnecting the VLSI integrated circuits. Though this device is plainly a DTE, its RS-232 ports use female DB-25 connectors, probably because these put the fragile male pin connectors on an easily changed cable.
• This particular 925 appears to have been manufactured in late 1982. In this picture it is displaying a self-test.
